The AXE-B11 is a professional handheld 3D scanner produced by the Chinese 3D measurement company Scantech. It uses a Class II, eye-safe laser technology that consists of 11 blue laser crosses plus an extra blue laser line. It is targeted at large-scale 3D measurements. It captures accurate data without the need for extra devices.

Thanks to the multiple crossed laser lines, this accurate 3D scanner can perform large-volume 3D measurements with high precision and efficiency requiring only a few markers to finish the process. It supports both high-efficiency scanning mode for large-volume scanning and single-line scanning mode for deep hole scanning and dead angle inspection. The AXE-B11 is also very fast. It can perform up to 1,300,000 measurements/s speeding up the digitization process.

Scan accuracy

The AXE-B11 is a professional handheld 3D scanner that can effectively scan objects with an accuracy of 0.0.20mm. Thanks to the integrated photogrammetry function, the scanner features a volumetric accuracy of 0.020mm + 0.035 mm/m. It has a resolution of 0.100 mm.

The 11 blue laser crosses let it efficiently perform up to 1,300,000 measurements/s. The single blue laser line allows scanning inaccessible parts with ease.

The AXE-B11 provides accurate results even when scanning reflective or shiny objects.

Scan volume

The AXE-B11 has a scan area of 550 mm × 600 mm, a stand-off distance of 450 mm, and a depth of field of 500 mm. The photogrammetry depth of field is 2,500mm. This portable scanner is particularly suitable for large-scale measurements without extra devices.

Scanner controls

The scanner is controlled via a USB-tethered computer. It can process and export data to multiple file formats (PLY, XYZ, DAE, FBX, MA, OBJ, ASC, STL, and more).
