HSCAN771 and HSCAN331 are Class II handheld metrology 3D scanners. Lightweight and adaptable, they let you scan a variety of dark and shiny objects, even the ones that are difficult to reach. Also, they are capable of measuring deep holes and intricate shapes always delivering accurate data.
Scantech HSCAN 3D scanners are extremely stable. You can calibrate them in just 60 seconds. They have been designed to perform well in any light condition, even under direct sunlight. They give you full freedom of positioning thanks to the self-position dynamic measuring. No matter where the object is, they will always be able to capture it. Fast and accurate, these user-friendly 3D scanners use multiple beam lasers to generate a high-precision three-dimensional point cloud from the scanned surface. They can be easily combined with additional photogrammetry systems, just like the own-brand MSCAN, to increase the volumetric accuracy and minimize cumulative errors when scanning big objects.
The HSCAN771 adopts 7 red laser crosses plus an extra red laser line, while the HSCAN331 is equipped with three red laser crosses and an extra red laser. The former is faster than the latter. It can perform 480,000 measures/s instead of 265,000 measures/s (HSCAN331).
HSCAN771 and HSCAN331 3D scanners are used for a variety of applications, including reverse engineering, quality inspection, industrial design, and more. Read the review for further specs.
For example, the HSCAN771 has been paired with the MSCAN photogrammetry system to 3D scan a helicopter.
After spraying some powder on the transparent windows, the operator has been able to 3D scan the vehicle obtaining high-precision, reliable 3D data.
HSCAN771 and HSCAN331 are metrology-grade laser 3D scanners. Reliable and flexible, they can scan black and shiny surfaces with a resolution of 50 microns and an accuracy of up to 30 microns. The HSCAN771 offers a volumetric accuracy of 02mm+0.06mm/m. The HSCAN331 provides a volumetric accuracy of 0.02mm+0.08mm/m.
When paired with the MSCAN system, both devices feature a volumetric accuracy 0.02mm+0.025mm/m. They can work in a temperature range of -10 to 40 °C.
HSCAN771 has a scan area of 10.8 x 9.8 inches (275 × 250 mm), while the HSCAN331 features a slightly smaller area of 8.8 x 9.8 inches (225 × 250 mm). With a stand-off distance of 300mm and a depth of field of 250mm, they can scan a broad range of products with high-precision.
HSCAN 3D scanners series features a Gigabit Lan interface. It runs on Windows operating systems. When paired with a computer, it provides real-time visualization of the scanning progress.
The scanner software lets you export the captured data as PLY, XYZ, DAE, FBX, MA, OBJ, ASC, STL, and more.
