KSCAN20 is a metrology-grade professional 3D scanner produced by the Chinese Scantech. It is a Class 2M, eye-safe composite laser 3D scanner. It effectively combines a photogrammetry system with a dual-laser light source (standard red and hyperfine blue). The photogrammetry function makes for wider scan volume and volumetric accuracy. The KSCAN20 is a professional laser 3D scanner equipped with both red laser and blue laser scan technology. Depending on the scan mode and part size, you might benefit from a different level of volumetric accuracy. Specifically, when scanning in red mode, the volumetric accuracy is 0.02 mm+0.035 mm/m. In blue mode, it goes down to 0.01 mm+0.035 mm/m. When using an optional reference bar, the volumetric accuracy is 0.025 mm/m.
The red mode provides a measurement resolution of 0.05mm, the blue mode gives the scan a finer resolution of 0.01mm. The single point repeatability is 30 microns. Unlike normal 3D scanners, KSCAN20 benefits from a 1-meter-length tolerance of 0.05mm and a 5-meter-length tolerance of 0.113mm. It is really fast. It can perform 650,000 measurements per second.
The KSCAN20 portable 3D scanner features an unlimited scan volume. By moving the device, you can scan both a coin and an airplane in rapid times. The single scan range measures 550 x 600mm. The stand-off distance goes from 200 mm to 420 mm. The scanner depth of field reaches up to 550mm.
