The EinScan-SP (Platinum) is a desktop 3D scanner manufactured by Shining 3D. It is a Structured Light Scanner equipped with a white light source and two monochrome cameras. It can capture images both with or without color. This accurate scanner has a small footprint, making it a perfect fit for any type of desk, let alone its futuristic outlook. The scanner features a turntable with a heavy-duty calibration board. The auto-calibration features and the two scan modes (fixed and auto) provide high accuracy, fast scanning speed, and versatility. The EinScan-SP is twice as fast as its low-end counterpart, the EinScan SE, since it can complete a single scan in 4 seconds and a 360-degree auto scan in just 1 minute. Besides, it is much more precise and offers an enlarged scan area. The auto-meshing to watertight 3D printable models makes it compatible with a variety of 3D printers providing high-quality, directly printable 3D data.

The EinScan-SP can be used in a plethora of different applications such as:

  • Architecture
  • Art and generative design
  • Reverse engineering
  • Manufacturing
  • AR, VR, 3D modeling
  • Heritage preservation, artifact restoration
  • Science and education
  • Healthcare
