The Sinterit Abrasive Material is a dry glass bead blasting medium designed for use with the Sinterit Sandblaster and Sandblaster XL. With approximately 200 μm granulation, it removes un-sintered powder residues from SLS-printed parts, polishes surfaces, and highlights fine details while preserving delicate geometries.
How It Works
Parts printed using SLS technology require post-processing to remove un-sintered powder that remains on the surface. The Sinterit Sandblaster uses compressed air to project small glass bead particles onto the workpiece, efficiently removing residual powder that is often difficult to clean by other methods. The process also smooths surface irregularities, providing an improved finish.
