The Vanadium nozzles from Slice Engineering are 3D printing nozzles crafted from vanadium-alloyed high-speed steel. They feature increased durability and wear resistance alongside high precision. The Vanadium nozzles come in ten diameters and are available individually or in packs — Standard or Supersized (the desired option can be selected in the Add-ons and Extras menu).
As RepRap style nozzles (M6 x 1.0 threads with a 7 mm thread length and 12.5 mm overall length), the Vanadium devices boast universal compatibility and support common metric (6 mm) and standard (1/4 in) socket tools for easy installation.
Apart from the mentioned benefits, the Slice Engineering Vanadium nozzles boast precise and solid design enabling accurate and stable printing. Thanks to enhanced construction and multiple diameter options, they can be effectively applied in manifold spheres.
The Slice Engineering Vanadium nozzles are hardened and tempered to 65 Rockwell C all the way through the substrate, not just on the surface, which makes them increasingly hard and consistent.
Made from vanadium-alloyed high-speed steel, these nozzles provide superior abrasion resistance at high printing temperatures.
To further enhance the wear-resistant potential of the device, the surface of the Slice Engineering Vanadium nozzles is coated with a plastic repellent coating to keep them as clean as possible.
With the Vanadium nozzles, it is always clear which nozzle diameter is installed thanks to the engraved numbers on 3 sides for easy viewing.
The Vanadium nozzles can be purchased individually or in packs, namely Standard and Supersized. The contents are the following:
These two packs are also available for the manufacturer’s BridgeMaster nozzles.
The price for the Slice Engineering Vanadium nozzles is $34.99, which is reasonable considering their versatility and high performance.
