Stacker S2 is an industrial printer equipped with a dual-extrusion system. It is the affordable, smaller version of the quad-extrusion Stacker S4. Both printers have been designed for printing with high-tech, composite materials, like carbon fiber. Unlike the S4 version, the S2 is packed with two independent extruders, hence the name. The print heads work independently allowing for multi-material printing with both standard and soluble filaments. The device ships fully assembled. It is built like a tank and shows an all-steel frame, which minimizes shocks and vibrations while printing. The steady structure provides high endurance, precision, and reliability. It sports a maximum print area of 395 x 325 x 525 mm and a heatable print bed, which heats up to 115°C. The machine supports multiple, interchangeable nozzles and third-party filaments, giving you more design flexibility. Like its counterpart, the Stacker S4, it is extremely easy to move from one room to the next thanks to lower wheels on which it rests. Each Stacker printer is hand-built using only the highest quality materials and parts produced by USA vendors. Read on to review its specs.
As an example of its possible industrial applications, it was used to print a 2-part mold for a local pottery company. Notice how precise and defined it is. The clean edges and the polished surfaces ensure perfect functionality.

The Stacker S2 is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 100 microns. The surface finish is not as smooth as you get with the more expensive printers, but is more than enough for prototyping and household use. The dual extrusion system features three printing modes: copy, dual color/material, and single head. The copy mode lets you print the same model with both extruders simultaneously. The dual-color and material mode lets you print a single model with two different filaments. The single head mode allows for removing the idle nozzle from the gantry increasing the total X/Y build area. In this way, you will be able to print multi-material and multi-color, large parts in no time, doubling your productivity.
Look at this big nut and bolt set. It is extremely defined and accurate.
The Stacker S2 supports multiple nozzle diameters of 0.25, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.8 and 1 mm, for varying thickness. This gives you the possibility to choose the best balance between speed and detail required by your design.

The printer body is an all-steel construction. The print head runs on rails. This makes printing reliable, fast and precise.
Stacker S4 Industrial Grade 3D Printer prints with filaments which extrude at temperatures below 300°C, including PLA, ABS, HIPS, Nylon, PVA, PET, PETG, TPE, TPU, PC, and all colorFabb filaments, such as XT-CF20 (Carbon Fiber), XT (Co-polyester), PLA-PHA, WoodFill, BrassFill, CopperFill, BronzeFill, and SteelFill.
The extruder comes with a fan for printing with PLA-type materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints. Both the hotends and the print bed have been designed to operate at high temperatures ensuring smooth and fine-detailed prints.

To ensure high reproducibility, we recommend installing an enclosed print chamber. This way the print quality would not be affected by temperature fluctuations as a result of drafts and other factors.
The Stacker S4 prints with both ColorFabb materials and standard, third-party 1.75 mm filaments. In this way, you are not limited to specific material.
The build area of 15.4 x 12.4 x 20.7 inches (390 x 315 x 525 mm) lets you print just about anything, even a Trash Walker.

The printer is controlled via PC.
3D models can be printed from computer via USB and SD card.
The printer software works with 3D models in STL, OBJ, AMF formats, and is available for Windows. Linux users will have to install a virtual machine or other software.
