The Stacker S4 is an industrial-grade FDM 3D printing system optimized for working with high-tech, composite materials, like carbon fiber. It is an innovative device that allows you to print with up to four filaments simultaneously. The printer sports four independent print heads, high-temp hotends, and a precision aluminum hotbed. Dedicated equipment makes it suitable for ColorFabb material printing. However, the device also features a universal filament rail, which makes it compatible with third-party materials. Every user might choose their favorite extrusion configuration between the Bowden and Direct Drive one. The massive print area lets you print parts up to 650 mm in height. Despite its rock-solid structure, it is extremely easy to move thanks to lower wheels on which it rests. Each Stacker printer is hand-built using only the highest quality materials and parts produced by USA vendors. The Stacker S4 is successfully used in prototyping and small-scale manufacturing and delivers high-quality, reliable prints every time. Keep reading for a complete review.
For example, it was used to print the big, custom toolbox inlay pictured. Look at its extreme dimensional accuracy and stability. As you can see, each tool fits perfectly in place.

These different ships have been printed at a time exploiting the potentialities of the independent quad-extrusion system.
The Stacker S4 is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 100 microns. The surface finish is not as smooth as you get with the more expensive printers, but is more than enough for prototyping and household use. The independent extruders let you print up to four parts at a time using different filaments and colors.
Look at this functional fan. Printed at 100 microns, it looks stunning and more than acceptable smooth.

The Stacker S4 features 6 different nozzle sizes. You can comfortably choose the best diameter for your project requirements (from 0.25 to 1.00mm).
Look how accurate this model is. Printed with PLA/PHA natural filament, it came through finely detailed.

The printer body is an all-steel construction. It's built like a tank. The print head runs on rails. This makes printing reliable, fast and precise.
Stacker S4 Industrial Grade 3D Printer prints with filaments which extrude at temperatures below 300°C, including PLA, ABS, HIPS, Nylon, PVA, PET, PETG, TPE, TPU, PC, and all colorFabb filaments, such as XT-CF20 (Carbon Fiber), XT (Co-polyester), PLA-PHA, WoodFill, BrassFill, CopperFill, BronzeFill, and SteelFill.
The extruder comes with a fan for printing with PLA-type materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints. Both the hotends and the print bed have been designed to operate at high temperatures ensuring smooth and fine-detailed prints.
This is an example of a PLA-made model.
The Stacker S4 is equipped with an aluminum, heated print bed, which makes it suitable for printing with ABS-type materials.
To ensure high reproducibility, we recommend installing an enclosed print chamber. This way the print quality would not be affected by temperature fluctuations as a result of drafts and other factors.
The Stacker S4 prints with both ColorFabb materials and standard, third-party 1.75 mm filaments. In this way, you are not limited to specific material.
The large build area of 13.6 x 20.5 x 25.6 inches (345 x 520 x 650 mm) lets you print just about anything.
For example, one user 3D printed this 22” x 9” custom model for a client.
The printer is controlled via PC and a simple built-in LCD interface mounted on the back of the printer.
3D models can be printed from computer via USB and SD card. The Raspberry Pi module lets you install additional CAT5 and wireless connectivity and control.
The printer is compatible with Simplify3D software and works with 3D models in STL, OBJ, AMF formats. The software is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

The two-shade of gray design and the stylish look makes the Stacker S4 ideal for professional and engineering use.
The printer dimensions are 28.3 x 43.3 x 35.4 inches (720 x 1100 x 900 mm). It weighs 150 lb (68 kg). The spool holders are mounted on the back of the printer.
The price of the Stacker S4 is $12,999.00 USD, which is reasonable considering its functionality and multi-material printing capability.
