The Calibry model produces industrial-grade, full-color 3D scans through simple operation: just point and scan. It is also able to capture traditionally tricky objects, such as hair, sharp edges, dark and shiny objects, etc. This modular device offers three different tracking modes: texture, geometry, and markers. Texture tracking is recommended for objects with little geometry but ample contrasting textures, especially antiques or museum artefacts. The geometry tracking mode can be used for scanning body parts or objects, and the marker tracking mode for capturing anything with a smooth, shiny or transparent surface, such as a car.

It is equipped with the manufacturer's proprietary camera for quality results and lower production costs. Scan accuracy

Calibry is an industrial, handheld 3D scanner, which relies on structured light technology. It offers an accuracy of up to 0.1 mm and a point resolution of 0.6 mm, which guarantees users fast and accurate results. It is able to capture difficult objects in 3 million PPS at up to 30 frames per second. The 2.3 MP texture cameras ensure good texture resolution providing a field of view of 850 x 1100 mm and a depth of view of 45-100 cm.

The device is able to capture objects like cars, engines, human faces and make full-body scans. By using the markers, it grants high accuracy on big, featureless products.

Scan volume

Calibry allows scanning and digitizing products from 20 cm to 10 m in length. This wide capture range lets you easily get almost unlimited sized scan without loss of accuracy even for large-sized objects.

Scanner controls and software

The scanner is controlled via a fitted, 4-inch touchscreen that enables simple operation and easy navigation. It works as a standalone 3D scanning device and doesn't require a computer screen to monitor the scanning process. The onboard screen immediately shows the captured images for enhanced user experience.

Calibry comes bundled with the proprietary Calibry Nest software that lets you view and edit 3D models. Basically, it takes raw data collected by Calibry and transforms it into a finished model. Being a professional software for 3D scanning and data processing, it offers a variety of advanced options for data editing. It comes with an advanced module for point cloud processing, alignment, noise removal, watertight mesh creation, sharpness adjustment, automatic model completion, and many others. Fill holes, simplify the mesh, apply texture – all of it can be done in a single program. During the scanning process, you can also adjust texture brightness, switch between geometry, texture, and marker tracking modes, and regulate sensitivity parameters to capture difficult objects.
