The Uniz Slash Plus UDP is a professional SLA/LCD 3D printer powered by the proprietary  Uni-Directional Peel (UDP) SLA technology. Thanks to this technology, the Slash Plus UDP is capable of producing layerless, high-res end-use parts with a professional-grade surface finish. It lets you print medium-sized models at 75 microns XY resolution and 20 microns accuracy within a print area of 192 x 120 x 200mm. The UDP technology has been developed to reach a faster peel time of the conventional layered process. In this way, it allows boosting the traditional SLA process.

As the standard Slash Plus, the UDP version boasts a fast print speed, great precision, and reliability. It comes with a sturdy yet user-friendly design made up of CNC-machined and cast aluminum parts. The rigid frame increases printer precision while delivering repeatable results over time. Simple to operate and clean, the Uniz Slash Plus UDP has been designed to broaden access to UDP 3D printing for anyone. No matter if you are a student, an educator, an engineer or a designer, the Slash Plus UDP is tailored to you.

In addition to the proprietary UDP SLA, the printer features a long-lasting clip-to-release resin tank, a resin cartridge system for easy replacement and an automatic resin level control. It is Wi-Fi enabled, meaning that you can comfortably operate and monitor your printer remotely using a computer, a tablet or even a smartphone.

Thanks to its good resolution and speed, the Uniz Slash Plus UDP has been used to produce a variety of high-precision models, including dental impressions, aligners, rings, miniatures, and more. Continue reading our review.

Print quality

The Uniz Slash Plus UDP is a professional desktop 3D printer. It reaches an accuracy of 20 microns and benefits from an XY resolution of 75 microns and a Z resolution of 10 microns. Thanks to the UDP technology, the machine base rises constantly, being capable of producing the parts continuously without the need of moving back and forth as in the standard resin printers. This allows reducing the print time up to 3 times, reaching a print speed of 600 mm/hr in UDP mode and 200mm/hr in normal mode.

Look at this model. The level of detail is amazing.

The Uniz Slash Plus UDP prints with 405nm UDP liquid resin. Specifically designed for the proprietary technology, the UDP resins grants high print quality and excellent surface finish and resolution.
