The Uniz Slash Pro UDP is a professional desktop SLA 3D printer produced by the San Diego-based Uniz company. As an upgraded version of the standard Slash Pro, it shares all the main features of the original model while relying on the innovative proprietary Uni-Directional Peel (UDP) technology. Based on the reduction of the up-and-down peel to a one-directional peel action, this technology increases the print speed of the resin printer up to 600 mm/hr, without the need of pure oxygen or exotic separation materials. The high speed is also achievable thanks to the effective liquid cooling system adopted.
The Slash Pro UDP has a stable structure, which helps reduce column distortion. The large print volume of 192 x 120 x 400 mm allows producing big parts in one go. Thanks to its accuracy and capability, the Slash Pro can be used by both hobbyists and professionals. The final resolution and surface finish of the printed models makes them ready-to-use fresh off the printer. Keep reading our Uniz Slash pro review for further information.
Thanks to its large print area, the Uniz Slash Pro UDP is capable of producing intricate geometries up to 400mm tall, like the below-pictured cylinder.
The Uniz Slash Pro UDP is a professional LCD resin 3D printer powered by the own-brand UDP SLA technology. This resin printer is capable of producing isotropic prints with an XY resolution of 75 microns and a Z resolution of 10 to 300 microns. The highest accuracy achievable is 10 microns.

The integrated liquid cooling system effectively cools down the parts making for faster print speed and greater accuracy.
For optimum surface finish and resolution, you need to use only the resins with UDP denomination.
With a large build volume of 7.5 × 4.7 × 15.8 inches (192 x 120 x 400 mm), the Slash Pro UDP lets you print parts with double the height of the ones created by the Uniz Slash Plus UDP. Producing bigger parts in one go or multiple items in a single batch results in higher throughput and lower part cost. All printed parts show smooth surface finish and extreme accuracy.
The printer features a plethora of connectivity options. Thus, it lets you operate the printer and share your file via USB, Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
The company has also developed a mobile app, for both Android and Apple devices, which lets you wirelessly control your printer at any time.
The Uniz Slash Pro UDP comes integrated with the own-brand software, which runs on Windows 7 and above and on Mac OS X 10.7 and above. It works with STL, OBJ, AMF, 3MF, and UNIZ file formats. The program offers advanced model repair features and supports ultra-large files of 1GB and above. It lets you manage multiple printers at the same time being perfect for workflow automation.
