The Zortrax Inventure is an FDM professional, automated 3D printer. Shipped fully assembled, it is ready to print just after unboxing. It has a compact and sturdy design and a thermo-regulated, closed chamber for accurate printing results. It is equipped with a bunch of innovative, smart features to provide a seamless 3D printing experience. It employs a dual-extrusion mechanism with a dissolvable support system. It delivers industrial-class performance and it is successfully used in prototyping and small-scale manufacturing. For example, it was used to print buildings, functional parts and miniatures. The Inventure might be paired with Zortrax DSS Station, an improved soluble support removal machine. Read on for an in-depth review.
One user ran a couple of test prints. Look how accurate and defined they are. The gears actually work while the fan shows polished, thin surfaces.

The Zortrax Inventure is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 90 microns. This way you can produce complex parts with smooth exterior surfaces. Its thermo-regulated chamber reduces shrinkage and warping issues enabling smoother printings.

The Zortrax Inventure adopts a single extruder, which feeds two different filaments to two nozzles. This system makes the whole mechanism lighter and smaller. It features two nozzles of 0.4 mm in diameter, giving you the best balance between speed and detail.
The print head runs on rails, which makes printing reliable, fast and precise.

Zortrax Inventure prints with PLA, ABS and other materials. The dedicated materials currently available are the Z-PETG, the Z-ULTRAT Plus, the Z-PLA, the Z-SEMIFLEX, and the Z-SUPPORT Premium. It is equipped with a consumable detection system.
The extruder comes with a fan for printing with PLA-type materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints.
Unlike many FDM printers, the Zortrax Inventure has a heated print bed and closed HEPA-equipped print chamber, which means it can reliably and safely print with ABS-type materials reducing warping issues.
The ABS is strong and flexible and it is perfect for creating detailed or interlocking parts, just like these complex buildings.
The Zortrax Inventure only works with own-brand, chipped filament cartridges. This ensures quality, as all the branded materials go through a strict quality assurance process. Still, each filament cartridge informs you about the type of material inside and if it is about to run out.
The build area of 5.3 x 5.3 x 5.1 inches (135 x 135 x 130 mm) lets you print just about anything.
The printer is controlled via a fitted, 3-button LCD display.
3D models can be printed from computer over an SD card.
The Z-Suite 2 slicing software works with the most common 3D model formats. You only have to load your file and it will automatically convert it to a ready-to-print model. It automatically detects the filament type you are using and sets up all the print settings. It is available for Mac, Windows 7 and higher versions.

Zortrax Inventure is available in black. Its stylish look makes it ideal for quick prototyping, small and medium-scale manufacturing, and other professional uses.
The printer dimensions are 13.8 x 13.6 x 15.9 inches (350 x 345 x 405 mm). It weighs 46 lb (21 kg). The filament cartridge is mounted on the side internally.
The price of the Zortrax Inventure is $2,490.00, which is reasonable considering its functionality and advanced features.
