Zortrax Ultrasonic Cleaner

Zortrax Ultrasonic Cleaner is an automated cleaning device entirely made of stainless steel. It can accurately remove excess resin from 3D models printed on the Zortrax Inkspire. Extremely easy-to-use, it works with high-frequency sounds propagated in liquid detergent. The company suggests using Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) as a detergent.

Model cleaning is a fundamental step before UV curing. Indeed, any resin residue might compromise the final quality of the cured print. The device is equipped with a timer ranging from 0 to 30 minutes. Generally, a cleaning session takes up to 10 minutes. The models should be cleaned immediately after printing. You’ll only need to put the printer platform with the model into the device, turn it on and set the cleaning time. When the time is over, turn off the Ultrasonic Cleaner, remove the platform and use compressed air to remove detergent residues.

The cleaning tank measures 9.5 x 5.3 x 3.9 inches (240 x 135 x 100 mm). It has a maximum capacity of 108.2 oz (3.2 l).
