The Anisoprint CFC PETG is a plastic filament developed by the REC company specially for the use with the and 3D printers featuring the proprietary Anisoprint CFC (Continuous Fiber Co-extrusion) technology of printing with continuous fiber reinforced materials. The Composer printers are equipped with a composite extruder where composite carbon or basalt fiber is coated with a melted polymer matrix, and the reinforced filament goes through the nozzle to print a part. Learn more about the technology from this video:

The CFC PETG provides reliable adhesion of fiber layers and optimal load distribution between them, which results in strong parts with high mechanical and physical properties, such as a wide range of working temperatures (-40 °C to +70 °C), chemical resistance, high durability, and others. It is recommended to print at 235–245 °C with the print speed of 10–20 mm/s for the CFC process. While printing with composite carbon or basalt reinforcement fibers, fan cooling (50%) is advisable for the neater fiber layup. The recommended print bed temperature is 45–60 °C.

The Anisoprint CFC PETG features low moisture absorption, which means it can be stored without drying for weeks and printed without an active dryer. If the air humidity is high and the filament has absorbed moisture, drying for 4 hours at 60 °C is recommended.

The Anisoprint CFC PETG is an easy-to-handle material with good flowing characteristics which is ideal for the use as a polymer matrix in CFC Anisoprint 3D printers, providing perfect adhesion with the reinforcement fiber and allowing for incredibly strong yet lightweight parts with great mechanical and physical properties.
