The BASF Ultrafuse PAHT CF15 is an engineering-grade FFF filament made up of high-temperature nylon reinforced with micro carbon fibers. The material features chemical resistance as well as excellent durability, impact resistance, and high tensile strength. It is capable of resisting temperatures up to 150 °C. Thanks to its good dimensional stability, the Ultrafuse PAHT CF15 is easy to process, providing smooth printing experience and producing accurate parts not prone to shrinkage.
The Ultrafuse PAHT CF15 can be processed on any FFF 3D printer with the nozzle temperature set to 260–280 °C and the print bed temperature of 100–120 °C. The cooling fans should be turned off, and the optimal print speed is 30–80 mm/s. It is recommended to use a hardened steel nozzle with a diameter of 0.6 mm or more. The filament is compatible with the Ultrafuse BVOH water-soluble support material and HIPS, allowing building parts with complex geometries and ensuring easy post-processing.
