The BASF Ultrafuse PET CF15 is an engineering-grade polyethylene terephthalate FFF filament reinforced with 15% carbon fiber. The material features superb strength and stiffness as well as high heat resistance. Extremely low moisture absorption and high dimensional stability allow it to be successfully used in humid environments. The Ultrafuse PET CF15 is an easy to process, low abrasive thermoplastic that allows building parts with excellent surface finish and outstanding mechanical properties. It is compatible with water-soluble support material for fast and easy post-processing without the risk of damaging the part surface.

The recommended nozzle temperature for the PET CF15 is 250–270 °C. It is highly advisable to use a hardened nozzle and turn off the cooling fans. It can be printed on glass or PEI print bed surface, and the use of adhesives is not necessary.

The Ultrafuse PET CF15 can be employed for a large variety of applications in different industries. It is extremely helpful in producing parts for long-term use in humid environments.
