BOFA 3D PrintPRO 3 Fume Extraction System

The BOFA 3D PrintPRO 3 is a compact fume extraction system designed for desktop enclosed or partially enclosed 3D printers. The system is commonly used with FDM-based machines, but it also works for vat polymerization and other technologies involving toxic fumes and gasses emission. Among a huge range of BOFA fume extraction solutions, the 3D PrintPRO product line was designed specifically for the additive manufacturing field. The device effectively captures and absorbs harmful gasses and particulates and returns filtered, clean air, providing a safe working environment.

With three levels of filtration, the 3D PrintPRO 3 is equipped with a polypropylene pre-filter with a 96% efficiency at 2 microns. It captures large particles thereby increasing the life of the HEPA filter, which comes next and has an efficiency of 99.997% at 0.3-micron particle size. The last stage is the activated carbon filter that absorbs toxic gasses and odors, and then the purified air is expelled through the exhaust outlet on the back panel. There is also an optional exhaust outlet at the bottom of the unit. All the filters can be easily replaced, and the filter change indicator lets the user know when it is time to do it. The 3D PrintPRO 3 incorporates a digital speed control option allowing you to choose from five available speed settings for the internal fan, which extends the filter life.
