The CraftBot Flow XL is a professional large-bed single extrusion 3D printer designed by CraftUnique. It is the bigger brother of the CraftBot Flow. As part of the brand new CraftBot Flow series, the Flow XL has been designed taking into account all users’ feedback gathered by the company. It relies on the original design of the renowned Craftbot 3 and PLUS 3D printers. Despite its predecessors, the Flow series sports a bunch of thoughtful upgrades. For example, it features renewed metal hotends, a reinforced double-shell steel construction, and a Raspberry-Pi-based motherboard.
This rock-solid single extrusion plug-n-play printer comes pre-assembled. You will get it up and running just after unboxing. It is a tight device with a large print area of 300 x 200 x 500 mm (twice the height of its smaller counterpart). Ideal for both newbies and professionals, the Flow XL provides several quality-of-life features, such as the automatic XY and semi-automatic electronically-aided bed calibrations, the filament detection system, and the pause-and-print option. These functions make for high printing accuracy with a low risk of printing failures.
Durable and reliable, this easy-to-use 3D printer is highly versatile. It can be used for a range of applications in a variety of fields, including product design, rapid manufacturing, and end-use 3D printing. Read on for a deeper review.
