CreatBot PEEK-CF 1.75 mm 1 kg

The CreatBot PEEK-CF is a 20% carbon fiber reinforced PEEK material featuring exceptional mechanical properties and high resistance to wear, corrosion, high and low temperature, hydrolysis, and flame. Apart from this, it boasts great dimensional stability and chemical inertness alongside high compressive strength. Just like the original PEEK, it is often used as a lightweight metal substitute, since the mentioned characteristics make it more efficient compared to many metals and metal alloys.

In contrast to other PEEK materials, this carbon fiber reinforced filament provides easier processing with no warping issues. The CreatBot PEEK-CF is highly suitable for manufacturing of custom high-strength parts in such industries as aerospace, automotive, energy, tooling, engineering, robotics, etc. It can also be used to produce prototypes with remarkable durability that can withstand the rigorous testing of functional parts during design verification to meet the demanding requirements of the production environment.

As a high-performance thermoplastic, PEEK-CF requires certain printing conditions, high nozzle temperature being the first of them. It is recommended to turn off the cooling fan while printing the material for proper crystallization. The recommended printing parameters for the CreatBot PEEK-CF filament are as follows:

• Nozzle temperature: 440 °C
• Bed temperature: 120 °C
• Layer height: 0.15 mm
• Print speed: 20 mm/s
• Infill: 100%, +/- 45°
• Nozzle size: 0.4 mm
• Cooling fan: off
