The DOBOT MG400 is a lightweight desktop collaborative robotic arm with a manipulator range of up to 440 mm a maximum payload of 750 g. The robot is characterized by high precision and repeatability ensured by low-voltage servo motors with absolute position encoders as well as mechanical transmission parts with low backlash. Compact and lightweight, it can easily adapt to confined spaces, with the footprint smaller than a sheet of A4 paper.
The device has four integral joints that make for flexibility and simplicity at the same time. Engineered to be user-friendly, it offers several programming options for users with different skills and experience.
The DOBOT MG400 does not require any safety fences and is capable of interacting with operators, other robots, and various working environments. The cobot is perfect for lightweight industrial and commercial applications, for example, small-batch production, laboratory automation, R&D.
The DOBOT MG400 uses the proprietary TrueMotion Algorithm technology featuring speed planning and dynamic algorithm, which makes for high accuracy and fast, stable operation. The device is capable of repeating a movement within 0.05 mm at a speed of 300°/s.
The MG400 can be used in conjunction with a variety of end effectors to meet each and every requirement. These include a suction cup (with a mini vacuum pump box to provide a convenient vacuum source) and grippers of different kinds — electromagnetic, electric (Servo type), soft.
The multiple axes configuration makes the robot ideal for repetitive pick-and-place actions.
The robotic arm is great for tasks such as sorting, loading, unloading, dispensing.
The cobot can also perform a variety of other tasks like machine tending, packaging, assembly, screwdriving, palletizing, polishing and more, thus realizing the omnidirectional automation of the work.
The device has a reach of up to 440 mm, which makes it suitable for a variety of tasks. The axis movement varies from joint to joint according to the following pattern:
Thus, the working range of the robotic arm is as follows:
The cobot is programmable through a variety of means: Teach & Playback is meant for beginners, Block Program will suit users with minimal programming experience, and LUA Script is best for veteran programmers. The first two are quite easy and straightforward, while LUA ensures maximum flexibility in solving complex tasks.
The MG400 can be controlled via PC or tablet using an Ethernet cable or over Wi-Fi.
The standard supply package includes:
