E3D Revo Hemera XS Direct Extruder

The E3D Revo Hemera XS is a compact dual-drive extrusion system designed with a broad compatibility in mind, including Revo nozzles and V6 ecosystem with the Hemera HeatBreak (sold separately). It is available in two versions — 12V and 24V. Also, the package differs in terms of nozzle quantity: one can choose a Single or Fully Loaded kit depending on the user’s needs (for more information check out the “What’s in the box” section). 

Compared to the classic Hemera, the Revo Hemera XS boasts improved construction enabling fast, accurate, and consistent printing with a reduced risk of issues like ghosting. Furthermore, with the Revo series, you can easily change nozzles by hand, no tools or hot tightening required.

Highlights

Optimized design

The Revo Hemera XS extrusion system is 92 g lighter and 11 mm shorter than the classic Hemera. Thanks to a custom stepper motor, it can move faster and with less inertia, which makes for reduced print issues. This compact, space-saving device is also great for smaller 3D printers since it occupies less volume.

Extended compatibility

With the system’s wide material compatibility as well as improved extrusion and retraction control, one can successfully print even demanding filaments, both flexible with a shore hardness up to 75A and abrasive.

High productivity

The Revo Hemera XS boasts an enhanced extrusion force to ensure the best performance of the entire E3D ecosystem, which is enough even for high-flow E3D HotEnds like SuperVolcano.

Smart anti-stringing algorithm

To prevent jamming and filament stringing, the Revo Hemera XS is equipped with a special drive mechanism that makes it easier to resume the process after pauses in printing.

Safety first

Thanks to integrated PTC behavior, the Revo Hemera XS ensures timely power reduction to the Revo HeaterCore to provide reliable protection against hazards caused by thermal runaways.

Custom mounting system

With a special T-slot flat mounting, the Revo Hemera XS allows using a wide range of accessories, such as bed leveling probes, expansion boards, and more to improve the user’s 3D printing experience.

Thoughtful package

The device comes with everything one needs to start 3D printing right after receiving the package, including dedicated Revo nozzles and a Revo HeaterCore.
