The E3D Revo HotEnd is a high-performance drop-in upgrade for popular 3D printers, including Voron, Prusa i3 MK3 variants, and Creality CR-10 and Ender 3 series. It is designed with better reliability and efficiency in mind and comes available in two versions — 12V and 24V (for Prusa version, 24V only). Also, the package differs in terms of nozzle quantity: one can choose a Single or Fully Loaded kit depending on the user’s needs (for more information check out the “What’s in the box” section).
To find out your printer’s compatibility with the Revo CR or Voron HotEnd (ideal for Voron StealthBurner), check out the Specifications section. Apart from the listed models, it is also possible to use the device with other machines using the NTC thermistor (mount / Z sensor modification might be required).
As for the Prusa i3 MK2 variants, they are most often 12V systems that are not compatible with this particular HotEnd. Please try the 12V Revo Six instead.
This easy-to-adapt upgrade offers the user all the benefits of the E3D’s self-developed RapidChange Revo ecosystem, such as a simple nozzle change with no tools or hot tightening involved and lower risk of leaks due to the factory sealed nozzles. Moreover, it is supplied with dedicated extension cables to provide a true drop-in replacement experience.
Thanks to reliable construction and enhanced safety features, the E3D Revo HotEnd can be effectively applied in manifold professional and personal spheres.
Convenient M3 clearance holes completely correspond to the assigned printers’ mounting patterns, so no extra mounts or adaptors are necessary to install the Revo HotEnd. With its rigid and ultra-lightweight construction, the device provides reliable high-speed operation.
The included Revo HeaterCore provides much faster heating compared to a traditional aluminum heater block, which makes for significantly improved printing efficiency.
Being a part of the Revo ecosystem, the HotEnd is fully compatible with Revo nozzles that can be easily swapped by hand, at room temperature and with no complex tools.
The device provides simple connection due to solderless, crimpless, butt splice connectors. This makes for smooth and quick integration of the Revo HotEnd in terms of wiring.
Thanks to integrated PTC behavior, the Revo HotEnd ensures timely power reduction to the Revo HeaterCore to provide reliable protection against hazards caused by thermal runaways.
With an anodised black or red aluminum heatsink, the Revo HotEnd boasts an eye-pleasing design compared to its predecessor.
The device comes with everything one needs to start 3D printing right after receiving the package, including a variety of dedicated Brass Revo nozzles and a Revo HeaterCore. The latter is engineered with a built-in 100K NTC thermistor, which has the same response as the stock HotEnd, so no firmware adjustments are needed.
