Featuring full compatibility within the E3D ecosystem, the SuperVolcano comes available in several variants differing in terms of voltage and input diameter. Highlights

Increased print speed

The SuperVolcano boasts up to 11x the volumetric flow rate of the V6, which allows it to reach extreme printing speeds compared to the standard Volcano HotEnd.

Peak temperatures

With the supplied thermistor, the SuperVolcano can reach operating temperature of up to 300 °C. However, with a PT100 or PT1000, it is capable of printing at 500 °C, which allows the user to use almost any material — from PLA to PEEK.

Enhanced compatibility

Being a part of the E3D ecosystem, the SuperVolcano upgrade kit is fully compatible with the company’s HotEnd range. It is possible to easily use it with the V6, Titan Aero, Titan Aqua, Chimera+, or Hemera.

Also, the SuperVolcano supports a wide range of nozzle materials and sizes. A 1.0mm nozzle provides the best balance of speed and detail, still one can always find the right option from 0.6mm up to 1.2mm.

In addition to increased print speed, the thick and high tracks printed by the SuperVolcano boast greater interlayer adhesion, reduced warping, and increased strength of the final products. In addition, they are less brittle and much more sturdy compared to standard prints.
