The E3D Volcano HotEnd is an advanced hotend tailored for efficient printing of bigger and stronger parts. With 3x the volumetric flow rate of the standard V6, it is perfect for slow and demanding projects as well as machines with large build volume.

Enhanced customization

The Volcano HotEnd is a full-fledged part of the E3D ecosystem, which allows the user to choose from a wide range of upgrades, including temperature sensors and heater cartridges as well as different nozzle materials and sizes for any project.

Remarkable speed

Thanks to its larger melt zone, the Volcano is capable of printing thicker and wider tracks, which results in significantly reduced print times.

Improved strength

In addition to increased print speed, the thick tracks printed by the Volcano boast greater interlayer adhesion and higher strength of the final products. In addition, they are less brittle and much more sturdy compared to standard prints.

With the increasing print volumes and demands for accelerated production, the Volcano is just the hotend required for time- and cost-effective printing of furniture and automotive parts. Its heater block is particularly designed to use larger nozzle sizes with higher volumetric flow rates.
