Print quality

The Emake3D Galaxy 1 can achieve 100 µm printing accuracy with a layer height of 25–200 micron and XY resolution of 25 µm. This way, one can produce high-quality models with exceptionally smooth exterior surfaces and fine detailing. With accurate layer registration, translucent materials turn out extremely clear right off the platform.

As one of the key features, the Galaxy 1 offers a powerful, high-intensity laser module with a lifespan of 20,000 hours, which is 10X longer compared to its counterparts. Based on linear scanning technology, it is engineered with flywheel generators to control the laser. The beam is distributed to the bottom of the vat by a rotating mirror, making the entire construction stronger and more reliable.

With the Galaxy 1 permanent leveling system, one can quickly and easily create complex 3D designs with increased stability. Enjoy an effortless SLA printing experience without the need to level the platform during long printing sessions. You can also use the touch screen to make fine adjustments and achieve the perfect horizontal state.

The built-in temperature control system allowing the printer to work in the temperatures above 5 °C guarantees top-quality printing with various special materials. This lets you print consistently for any application.

Materials

To ensure a more efficient and streamlined workflow, Emake3D have designed a smart resin tank feeding inlet for the Galaxy 1 model that supplies additional resin when needed in a fully automatic way. This effectively eliminates print failures from insufficient resin amount during the printing process.

Build volume

The Emake3D Galaxy 1 offers the biggest build volume among desktop SLA printers. It features a printing area of 400 x 200 x 400 mm (15.8 x 7.9 x 15.8 in) that lets you make a single huge model as a whole or simultaneously print multiple smaller ones with exceptional detailing. Equipped with a 17" build platform, the Galaxy 1 is a perfect choice for mass production.

Printer controls and software

The Emake3D Galaxy 1 can be controlled via a built-in 7" color touch screen with a clear menu structure and user-friendly interface. Data input is performed via SD card and USB.

In terms of slicing software, the Galaxy 1 3D printer works with the most commonly used modeling and slicing programs like CHITUBOX, Voxeldance, PrusaSlicer, Lychee, Materialise Magics, and Workshop. Support for even more third-party slicers is expected in the future.
