The Infinite Caverna PP is a cutting-edge build material featuring a unique co-continuous microporous morphology. It is a blend of two immiscible polymers: the water-soluble polymer dissolves during post-processing, leaving a soft, flexible, foam-like part that loses about 45% of its initial mass and acquires incredible moisture vapor transmission due to its porous structure. Outstanding print fidelity of the Caverna PP is reached thanks to its uniform pore distribution and size of 1–4 microns. The material is compatible with traditional PP filaments which allows creating multi-material models with required properties in different areas. It also pairs perfectly with the Infinite AquaSys 120 support material which is dissolved during the water-soluble phase.
Due to its microporous structure the Infinite Caverna PP opens up a range of completely new applications, from printing breathable shoe insoles to air and water filter manufacturing. As long as the Caverna PP does not require toxic chemicals for post-processing, it is perfect for the use in medical and educational fields.
