MakerBot Replicator Mini is a compact version of the MakerBot Replicator desktop 3D printer. The machine is optimized to be a consumer-specific product. The innovative on-board webcam allows you to observe the printing process even when you’re not at home.
The device is easily transported due to its lightness. You can literally carry it somewhere else. Also, the device does not require long preparation and setting up. It can be easily prepared for printing.
The printer dimensions are 295 x 310x 381 mm with a maximum size of printable models up to 100 x 100 x 125 mm. Printing is carried out by a single extruder using polylactide (PLA). The minimum thickness of the applied layer is 200 microns. The machine is equipped with a USB port and wireless interface (Wi-Fi).

Makerbot Replicator Mini was also used to print these various models. And they look great.
The Makerbot Replicator Mini is an FDM 3D printer that can print at 100 microns. The surface of the ready model is not as smooth as you get with the more expensive printers, but is more than enough for experimenting and household use. You can even print a robot hand:

The print head runs on rods with linear bearings.
The extruder comes with a fan for printing with PLA-type materials. Here is a small model that was printed with PLA.
Unlike many FDM printers, the Makerbot Replicator Mini has a heated bed and closed print chamber, which means it can reliably print with ABS-type materials.
Makerbot Replicator Mini can also print with such materials as bronzefill, copperfill, and woodfill (visit MakerBot Labs) and others.
The Makerbot Replicator Mini only works with own-brand filament. This ensures quality, as all the branded materials go through a strict quality assurance process.
The build area of the printer is 4 x 5 x 5 inches (101 x 126 x 126 mm). The machine is more suitable for printing small or tiny models like the ones you can see in the picture below:
However, you can also build bigger prototypes. Just print a model in parts and then assemble or glue them together.
The printer is controlled via PC or a mobile device.
3D models can be transferred via Wi-Fi and USB cable. The printer’s built-in camera lets you monitor the process.
The printer is compatible with the MakerBot software and works with 3D models in STL and OBJ formats. The software is available for Windows and Mac OS X. Linux users will have to install a virtual machine.
Makerbot Replicator Mini is available in black color.
The printer dimensions are 11.6 x 13.7 x 15 inches (101 x 126 x 126 mm). It weighs 21 lb (9.3 kg). The spool holder is mounted inside.
The price of the Makerbot Replicator Mini is $1,600.00, which is reasonable considering its functionality.
