The Mingda MD-1000 Pro is a professional high-temperature FDM 3D printer aimed at rapid, precise, and user-friendly industrial production. To streamline and facilitate the manufacturing process as much as possible, the MD-1000 Pro model comes with a space-conscious and safety-oriented design, robust metal construction with enhanced movement precision, fast-heating capabilities, and fully automated leveling. Thanks to two interchangeable hotends, the Mingda MD-1000 Pro can work with a broad range of filaments, from engineering-grade to flexible ones.

For fast, smooth, and ultra-quiet operation, Mingda has developed a proprietary high-performance 32-bit motherboard powered by Cortex-M4. It ensures fast export and processing of data as well as rapid completion of 3D printing tasks.

To provide a reliable and comfortable experience, the MD-1000 Pro is equipped with multiple useful features, such as a built-in filament detector, smart print resume function, automatic shutdown, flexible PEI build plate, silent printing, and open material system making the choice of filaments literally unlimited. Print quality

The Mingda MD-1000 Pro can print layers with heights ranging from 50 to 300 micron. This lets one produce high-quality detailed parts with smooth surface finish.

Equipped with a dual-gear direct extruder, the MD-1000 Pro model boasts a higher extrusion force, smoother feeding, and more efficient printing with flexible filaments. Featuring the maximum print speed of 200 mm/s, the Mingda MD-1000 Pro is 4X faster than competing printers, which significantly cuts production times.

The MD-1000 Pro is crafted with an all-metal enclosed chamber and accurate linear guide rail, which allows it not only to maintain a consistent printing temperature, but also ensure structural stability and 4–5X precision compared to ordinary 3D printing.

This leads to improved print quality and accuracy with sharper details.

In terms of leveling, the MD-1000 Pro incorporates an intelligent automatic leveling system with a high-sensitivity sensor, which greatly improves printing efficiency and quality stability. The precise calibration of nozzle distance during the first layer printing process (Baby Step intelligent compensation function) also enables the printer to create models with finer layer resolution and 0.01 mm accuracy.

The machine boasts a flexible PEI platform. Due to its impressive viscosity, the build plate provides quick heating, strong adhesion, high-temperature resistance, and support of various consumables. Moreover, it aims to prevent model warping and allows for effortless removal of completed prints by simple bending.

Last but not least, the Mingda MD-1000 Pro has an integrated UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) function. In case of emergency or power off, the machine will automatically suspend printing and return to the home point. When the power is on, the MD-1000 Pro will resume printing from the point of suspension.

Materials

The Mingda MD-1000 Pro is equipped with a dual-gear direct extruder that enables it to handle flexible filaments with ease. Moreover, the machine is built to quickly swap between a normal and high-temperature hotend. The maximum temperature of the basic hotend can reach 250 °C, supporting popular materials like PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, etc.

Thanks to the all-metal hotend and hardened steel nozzle capable of heating up to 350 °C, the MD-1000 Pro model can also reliably print with a wide range of engineering and composite filaments, including PET-CF, PET-GF, PA12-CF, PETG, ASA, and more ensuring high accuracy and surface quality of the printed parts.

The model comes with a fully enclosed build chamber that provides consistent printing temperature, reliable adhesion, and dimensional stability for demanding materials.

Apart from this, the MD-1000 Pro is equipped with a quickly heated aluminum platform with the maximum temperature of 110 °C. Evenly heated and capable of reaching 60 °C in about 75 seconds, it makes for strong first layer adhesion and overall print quality. The heating speed remains unchanged at 220V and 110V.

Build volume

The Mingda MD-1000 Pro 3D printer offers a massive build volume of 39.4 x 39.4 x 39.4 inches (1000 x 1000 x 1000 mm). Such a size lets you produce models of various sizes, including huge ones, without the need of splitting them and in batches, which makes for time-saving and increased performance.

Printer controls and software

The Mingda MD-1000 Pro is designed with a 5" colorful touch screen with an intuitive and well-organized UI available in different languages.

The device supports SD, U-disk, and Type-C connectivity. Engineered with a thoughtful emergency stop button, the Mingda MD-1000 Pro enables smooth operation with safety and reliability in mind.

Look and feel

The Mingda MD-1000 Pro is available in white with black trimmings. Its fully enclosed ergonomic design makes it ideal for any studio, workshop, small enterprise, or educational institute. Due to its transparent acrylic doors, the machine enables convenient visual monitoring throughout the printing process and additional safety for industrial environments.

Apart from the already mentioned quality-of-life features, the model comes with a built-in filament storage box as well as a closed hanging room for large spools (up to 5 kg). These features ensure smart and convenient material management, with no need to protect or replace filaments in the middle of the printing process.

The printer dimensions are 63.4 x 52.6 x 57.5 in (1610 x 1335 x 1460 mm). A spool holder is mounted inside the machine.
