The Optimus C1 is an FDM professional 3D printer. It is an upgrade of Febtop Tech’s original Optimus. Like its predecessor, it is a transformable 3-in-1 desktop 3D printer, laser cutter, and Computer Numerical Control mill. It is shipped fully assembled, ready to operate after unboxing. It has an integrated case that makes it steady, accurate and smart looking. Its structure is optimized for all the functions. You can quickly switch between them by easily replacing the modular tool heads. The machine is aimed at user convenience with an eye on the environment. Indeed, it comes with a filament sensor, which automatically detects when the filament runs out, and an air-filtration system to reduce toxic emissions. It is a quiet printer that operates at less than 40db. It’s successfully used in prototyping and small-scale manufacturing. For example, it was used to print figures, table games and miniatures. The Optimus 3d printer is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 50 microns. This way you can produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces. Its rugged structure provides great accuracy and, thus, clarity of details. As a 3D printer, it can produce big parts with a maximum layer height of 0.6mm within a build area of 280 x 280 x 280 mm.
By switching to the milling head, you can start engraving a variety of materials. Its Φ16 light bar ensures high processing accuracy. The independent Z-axis drive system and CNC cutting space provide higher stability and precision. The laser tool head completes the Optimus offering allowing for stable and accurate laser engraving and cutting.
The Optimus 3d printer has a 0.4 mm nozzle, giving you the best balance between speed and detail.
Optimus C1 can directly print with PLA, nylon, ABS, resin, wood, metal and other materials. It can also engrave a range of material, including aluminum, wood, PCB board, and others.

The extruder comes with a fan for printing with PLA-type materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints.

3D models can be printed from computer via USB cable and SD card.
The 3D printer and the laser work with Cura and Slic3r software, while the CNC mill operates via the Autodesk Fusion 360. The CNC software lets you create fancy cuts, such as 3D curves, slopes and complex layers with ease. You’ll only have to upload your CAD file, select the right types of cuts for each line and export its g-Code. In this way, you will be able to carve 3D looking shapes as well as complex, flat designs in minutes.
Optimus C1 supports TypesSTL, OBJ, IGS, and GCODE files and runs on Windows and Mac OS.
