Optimus P1 is a professional large-format FDM 3D printer that can also be converted into a laser engraving machine (note: the laser module is a separate paid add-on). It is an all-rounder capable of producing huge high-quality parts as well as engraving outstandingly detailed images onto a variety of surfaces. You can shift between the 3D printing and laser engraving modes in less than 5 minutes.
The machine consists of 6 aluminum-based modules. It is equipped with MGN16 Hiwin linear rails and SFU 1610 lead screws ensuring exceptional reliability and precision. The device’s print chamber can be fully enclosed, widening the number of printable materials, providing additional safety, and lowering the noise level. It can also be upgraded with a high-grade air filter.

The Optimus P1 is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 50 microns. This way you can produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces.
The machine is compatible with differently sized nozzles of 0.4, 0.8, and 1.2 mm, giving you the best balance between speed and details.
It is a powerful device that lets you engrave elegant letters and well-detailed pictures on a variety of surfaces, including wood and even steel surfaces (if you upgrade to the 15w laser).
The Optimus P1 offers a variety of filament types to choose from. The device is compatible with PLA, ABS, Wood PLA, Rubber/Flex (TPU) and PETG.

The extruder comes with a fan for printing with PLA-type materials. The fan cools the model during printing, which reduces warping, stringing, and other issues.
To ensure high reproducibility, we recommend installing an enclosed print chamber. This way the print quality would not be affected by temperature fluctuations as a result of drafts and other factors.
Optimus P1 prints with standard 1.75 mm filament. You can pick the material you prefer from any vendor benefiting from a wide material choice.
