The QIDI Tech X-CF Pro is an engineering-grade FDM 3D printer specially designed for nylon and carbon fiber-reinforced filaments. For this, the device adopts a number of smart features that make for high-quality outputs using these materials.
First, the printer comes with a high-temperature extruder already installed in the machine. The print head has an array of features ensuring real industrial-grade manufacturing — those will be described a bit later. (The package also includes a normal extruder kit for printing with ordinary plastics like PLA and PETG.) An elaborately made print bed along with a thoughtful structure and design prevent common problems and improve the overall quality of printing. In addition, the filament dry box protects consumables from moisture, while the filament sensor will help avoid issues related to unexpected runouts.
QIDI also offers its own lineups of carbon fiber and nylon filaments characterized by outstanding properties. Check out the following parts made with the X-CF Pro using these materials and read on to learn more about the device.
The QIDI Tech X-CF Pro is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 50 microns, making for quality prints with smooth surface finishes and a good level of detail. A dual Z-axis and an upgraded XYZ structure with industrial-grade guides ensure high accuracy and speed.
The X-CF Pro comes with a 0.4 mm nozzle, providing the best balance between speed and detail. In addition, the printer is equipped with a filament detection sensor, so you don’t have to worry about running out of consumables.
The PEI build plate enables good adhesion and prevents warping and other issues, while the smart auto leveling system using a Korean BLTouch laser module guarantees precise positioning, taking up to 20 points on the print bed.
The QIDI Tech X-CF Pro is engineered to reliably print with nylon and carbon fiber-reinforced filament, which is notable for high strength and low density, as well as resistance to corrosion, static electricity and high temperatures. Apart from that, it is naturally capable of printing with other materials like PLA, PETG, TPU, as well as PC and ABS — the device is equipped with a heated print bed and a fully enclosed chamber.
The plate can heat up to 120 °C, and the high-temp extruder can reach 350 °C. The latter uses high-temperature alloy material and a double gear, providing increased accuracy and prolonging the service life, which is especially important when printing carbon fiber.
The Qidi Tech X-CF Pro prints with 1.75 mm filament and has an open feeding system, providing you with a wide choice of materials no matter the manufacturer.
The build area of 11.8 x 9.8 x 11.8 inches (300 x 250 x 300 mm) lets you print one big model or multiple items in a single session.
At the bottom of the front side, there is a 5" color touchscreen to provide comfortable control through easy-to-navigate menus. Also, the printer can be controlled remotely using Wi-Fi connection.
To print a 3D model, you can use a USB flash drive, LAN, or Wi-Fi.
The printer is recommended to be used with the intelligent QIDI Print slicer, which has been upgraded to provide optimal parameters for printing carbon fiber and nylon filaments. QIDI printers are also compatible with other slicing solutions like Ultimaker’s Cura and Simplify3D.

The QIDI Tech X-CF Pro is available in a black and white scheme. Its stylish look will decorate any workshop or office.
The printer dimensions are 24 x 20 x 27 inches (610 x 515 x 678 mm), and it weighs 70.5 lb (32.5 kg). The spool holder is mounted on the rear side of the device.
The price for the QIDI Tech X-CF Pro is $1,669.00, which is reasonable considering its functionality.
