The Raise3D Hyper Speed PLA is a polylactic acid-based polymer from the latest Hyper Speed filament lineup developed by Raise3D specifically for printing at high speeds. This lineup is a part of Hyper FFF technology recently launched by the company and currently compatible with their Pro3 series 3D printers. Apart from the new filaments, the complete system includes hardware and software upgrades allowing the user to increase printing speed up to 300 mm/s without sacrificing print quality.
Printing at high speeds often leads to nozzle clogging and poor interlayer adhesion, since conventional filaments do not have enough time to melt properly while coming through the hotend. The new Raise3D Hyper Speed filaments have an optimized molecular weight and higher fluidity, so they take less time to go from solid to melt, providing consistent extrusion without clogging issues. Combined with lower heat capacity, this also allows fast cooling of the printed layers and ensures strong interlayer bonding and outstanding surface finish with a high level of detail.
Due to its excellent visual performance and Z-direction strength, the Hyper Speed PLA can be used for a variety of applications, including functional prototyping, concept validation, art and design, as well as end-use part manufacturing, providing fast and cost-efficient printing.
The filament can be combined with the Premium PVA+ as a support material. For better printing results, the cooling fan should be turned on. The Raise3D ideaMaker software provides printing profiles for Hyper Speed filaments, compatible with the Pro3 series machines.
The Raise3D Hyper Speed PLA 1.75 mm filament is sold in 1 kg spools. It comes vacuum-sealed with desiccant.
