iReal 2S is a user-friendly color 3D scanner from Scantech. It is equipped with a dual-light laser technology composed of blue LED light and infrared light. It is capable of reproducing high-precision textures while capturing capillary details.

The iReal 2S features a large scan area of up to 400 x 330 mm. It can reproduce high-definition textures benefiting from a smart alignment system and an automatic post-processing algorithm. The anti-interference blue light and the invisible infrared light technology let comfortably and safely capture a broad range of colors. The infrared light is suitable for human faces and eyes 3D scanning.

Scan accuracy

The iReal 2S is a powerful color 3D scanner that can scan objects with a point accuracy of 100 microns (blue light) and 150 microns (infrared light). When scanning in blue light mode, the scanner features a point distance of 0.2 to 3mm. In red mode, the point distance ranges from 0.5 to 3mm. It can even capture tiny hair with extreme accuracy.

The scanner produces 24-bit color images with an alignment accuracy of 0.2 mm/m in blue mode and 0.25 mm/m in infrared mode. By combining texture and geometric alignments, the iReal 2S is capable of scanning irregular textures without the use of markers. 

 

Scan volume

The blue light scan area ranges from 200 x 135 mm to 400 x 270 mm. The infrared scan area goes from 200 x 165 mm to 400 x 330mm. The effective working range goes from 300 to 600mm. The optimal scanning distance is 400 mm.

 

Scanner controls

The scanner is controlled via a USB-tethered computer.

This user-friendly device includes a smart intermittent light signal that keeps you updated about the scanner status.

The scanner software generates OBJ, STL, PLY, ASC, SK file formats. All files are compatible with the most common 3D printers.
