The Shining 3D FreeScan Trak Pro is a professional optical coordinate measuring system consisting of the high-precision FreeScan TE17 3D scanner and FreeTrak Pro optical tracker. Based on the dynamic referencing technology implying high-speed transmission and data synchronization, the FreeScan Trak Pro is capable of capturing the spatial position of the scanner tip in real time, offering a portable, efficient, and reliable 3D measurement solution for large and complex structure objects. Furthermore, dynamic referencing allows for scanning without markers and moving freely during measurement even in unstable environments.

  

Being an upgraded version of the original model, the FreeScan Trak Pro features improved accuracy, impressive scanning area, and compact, lightweight design. Another new feature is the scanner’s capability to efficiently work with black and highly reflective surfaces. The integrated inspection software has an intuitive interface and advanced tools to ensure top-quality data acquisition as well as easy operation and shorter learning curve. Due to the mentioned peculiarities, the device provides a simple and convenient way to obtain the exact 3D data of various workpieces and functional parts.

Scan accuracy

The FreeScan Trak Pro optical tracking system comes with a professional 3D scanner with a metrology-grade accuracy of up to 0.023 mm and high repeatability. Moreover, it boasts an outstanding resolution of up to 0.02 mm making for efficient and precise 3D data acquisition for medium to large workpieces.

Depending on the purpose, two scanning modes are available: fine scanning with 7 parallel blue laser lines for capturing rich detail and rapid scanning with 34 crossed blue laser lines.

As for the alignment options, the FreeScan TE17 3D scanner offers optical tracking/markers dual mode with flexible switching capabilities for different scenes. Also, thanks to the dynamic referencing feature, the tracker or the object can be moved freely during measurement, allowing users to scan in unstable environments without loss of quality.

 

Scan volume

The FreeScan Trak Pro optical coordinate measuring system offers a wide scanning area of 600 x 500 mm, which makes it perfect for large and medium-sized scans. With the depth of field up to 400 mm, you will cover big objects up to 10 m in size at an impressive speed of 1,370,000 measurements/s.

 

Scanner controls

The FreeScan TE17 3D scanner supports wireless and wired connection to the computer and the optical tracker, including the AIRMASTER solution, so it can be easily used without additional cables that prevent free movement during the scanning process.

Due to the Independent mode with its own light source, the scanner can be utilized as a standalone device for some tasks
