The UP300 is a personal FDM 3D printer. It comes already assembled and ready to print out of the box. Thanks to its closed box design, this convenient-to-use device grants good quality prints and finishes. The enclosure along with an improved, dual filtration system with HEPA and activated carbon filters ensures safety and ease of use. Unlike its predecessor, the UP Mini 2 ES, the UP 300 features a larger build volume. It is equipped with interchangeable print heads tailored to different material groups and two detachable double-sided glass build plates, which allows printing complex materials and easily removing prints. Thus, the printer is capable of printing with ABS and high-temperature materials flawlessly. It includes some quality-of-life functions like the start-and-stop system, the print queue, and the filament detection. You will be able to pause and restart printing at will or in case of a blackout and to easily manage multiple prints sent from different users on the network. The machine has a removable, waste collection tray which streamlines its cleaning process. It delivers professional results at a maximum print speed of 200mm/s. This office-friendly device is used by designers, office workers, hobbyists, and students. It’s been used to print a wide variety of figures, merchandise, functional tools, jewelry, and more. It is one of ALL3DP’s Summer 2019 picks for Editor’s choice. Read the in-depth review for more details.

The UP300 is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 100 microns. The surface finish is not as smooth as you get with the more expensive printers, but is more than enough for prototyping and household use. The machine offers some advanced calibration options for achieving higher accuracy prints and correcting any dimensional distortions. The different print heads enable to reliably print with different materials.
The UP300 features a single nozzle. However, it comes with a selection of three different nozzles of 0.4, 0.5, and 0.6 mm in diameter, giving you the possibility to choose the best solution according to the final application and material used.
The print head runs on rods with linear bearings, making the design more simple, lightweight and effective, all characteristics that are desirable in a 3D printer.
UP300 prints with UP Fila ABS, ABS+, PLA, TPU and other materials. It grants consistent performance with every kind of filament.
The printer employs three different material-specific extruders, one for ABS and high-temp filaments, one for PLA and low-temp filaments, and the other for TPU. The extruders come with a fan for printing with these specific materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints.

Unlike many FDM printers, the UP300 has a heated print bed backed with glass and closed print chamber, which means it can reliably print with ABS-type materials. It comes with a print head tailored to high-temp materials and two different double-sided beds, one with a textured grip sticker tailored to low-temp filaments, and the other with Tiertime’s signature perf board tailored to ABS-type materials.
The UP300 features an open-material system and prints with 1.75 mm filament, providing you with a wide choice of materials. It is capable of printing with a variety of filaments, even advanced ones, to match all your design purposes.

The build area of 8.1 x 10 x 8.9 inches (205 x 255 x 225 mm) lets you print a variety of big objects in one piece, just like this cool mask.
The printer is controlled via a responsive, color touchscreen display. The printer might also be operated from the UP Studio software over Wi-Fi.
3D models can be printed from computer via USB cable, Wi-Fi and SD card.
The printer operates with Tiertime’s UP Studio slicer. This simple-to-use, intuitive software provides you with practical features that facilitate both slicing and printing process. Smart support generation, assisted calibration, auto-leveling, and defect detection will turn your ideas into printed models effortless. It runs on Windows, Mac OS, and iOS and supports the most common 3D model formats available.
