PLA is one of the best and easy-to-print FDM/FFF filaments currently available on the market. This material has a nice outlook, provides a glossy surface finish, and is an entirely biodegradable and non-toxic one. Therefore, it won’t pollute the air with potentially dangerous fumes and unpleasant odors during printing. Besides, it is a fully biodegradable eco-friendly material. Compared to other companies’ PLA, the Top3DShop PLA filament is much easier to slice and in fact is more malleable, greatly reducing the number of required post-processing procedures.
Even though the material is less resistant to temperature fluctuations than its ABS counterpart, it still offers good toughness and strength. It is characterized by a good round shape and an accurate, uniform diameter of 1.75mm. The filament comes in a variety of different colors featuring opaque and transparent ones. White, black, and natural-colored spools can also be bought in 2.85mm diameter. The low melting temperature of the Top3DShop PLA makes it printable on almost any FDM/FFF 3D printer, including the cheapest ones without a heated bed. It runs out smoothly streamlining the 3D printing process, giving your model a glossy and detailed surface finish.
