The TRILAB AzteQ Dynamic is a professional delta FDM 3D printer with a cylindrical print area specifically designed for high-volume printing of materials that do not require an actively heated print chamber (for the latter feature, check out the model). Boasting the versatility of the AzteQ series, the Dynamic offers the same superior surface quality, outstanding printing speed, and tall-format build chamber alongside automatic strain gauge calibration and remote management options. All these features make the AzteQ Dynamic an ideal workhorse for industrial-grade fast and accurate 3D printing.

Engineered with an open print volume without active chamber heating, the AzteQ Dynamic model can print all consumer-grade filaments. It is designed for high-volume processing of versatile and easy-to-print thermoplastics such as PLA, PETG and CPE, but can also handle composite materials like PA-CF and PC-CF very well.

Just like its predecessor, the TRILAB AzteQ Dynamic is equipped with a magnetic swappable printhead with an E3D V6 Volcano hotend, which can be easily replaced with an E6 or SuperVolcano, depending on the project requirements. The default 0.4 mm brass nozzle can be heated up to 300 °C and changed for other type and diameter nozzles as well.

To provide a streamlined experience for both beginners and advanced users, the machine is equipped with such quality-of-life features as an advanced automatic calibration of the first layer, removable PrintPads, Wi-Fi connectivity, integrated camera and chamber lighting for remote monitoring, and more. As for software, the AzteQ Dynamic is recommended to be used with multifunctional PrusaSlicer software providing ready-made material profiles and smart editing tools. The machine also supports Cura, Simplify3D, and KISSlicer.

Due to its sophisticated delta kinematic motion system, high accuracy and precision, impressive printing speed, and large build volume, the TRILAB AzteQ Dynamic is ideal for prototyping or end-use part production in different spheres, including but not limited to automotive, machinery, architecture, research, and more. The machine can efficiently handle such ambitious projects as industrial jigs and fixtures, various prototypes and functional parts, limited series production, etc.

Print quality

The TRILAB AzteQ Dynamic can print layers with a minimum height of 50 microns. Alongside high printing speed, delta kinematics ensures superior spatial accuracy and repeatability of printing results, allowing for detailed models with excellent surface finish. Larger and more complex models are often printed by the AzteQ Dynamic with little or no support.

The printhead is supported by extremely light and rigid carbon arms, mounted on strong magnets similar to the head itself. In combination with the state-of-the-art THK linear guide, the AzteQ delta kinematics ensures fast, precise and repeatable movements, which results in high-quality outputs. The minimum of moving components of the printer also brings a significant reduction in necessary service interventions resulting from wear and tear on stressed parts.

Thanks to the swappable magnetic printhead system, you can choose the most suitable configuration for a specific material and printing speed. Simply attach the selected printhead to the magnets and the AzteQ Dynamic will automatically perform full printer calibration to ensure a truly perfect first layer. It is possible to combine E3D V6, Volcano or SuperVolcano hotends with specific nozzle types and dimensions. The printheads are also compatible across the entire AzteQ product line.

A flexible PrintPad allows one to easily remove the model after printing and is the first step in automating additive production. The wide range of available PrintPad surface variants ensures optimal first layer adhesion with the individual types of printing materials used.

Materials

The TRILAB AzteQ Dynamic can print with a wide range of consumer-grade thermoplastics including PLA, PETG, CPE, ABS, ASA, PETG-CF, PC-CF, PA-CF, and PA-GF. The swappable printhead system and flexible PrintPads with various surface textures allow the user to choose the optimal printing conditions for each type of filament, ensuring the best result for any specific purpose.

Furthermore, the AzteQ Dynamic features an open material system. This means the machine can process any third-party filaments, providing the user with a wide choice of available 1.75 mm thermoplastics.

Build volume

The TRILAB AzteQ Dynamic offers a capacious build area of 300 mm in diameter and 400 mm in height (Ø 11.8 x 15.7 in). This lets one produce a single large model or a wide variety of small-to-medium sized prints in batches without the need of splitting them, which makes for time-saving and increased productivity.

Printer controls and software

The TRILAB AzteQ Dynamic 3D printer features a wireless 6.5" DeltaControl display with AzteQ Hub charging station placed directly on the housing. Basically a smartphone with the DeltaControl app installed, it features a clear menu structure and user-friendly interface. Data input can be performed through the USB port, Ethernet port, or Wi-Fi.

One can also manage the AzteQ Dynamic via a web interface with secure remote access from PC or Mac (Wi-Fi or LAN). The user can operate the printer remotely and monitor the printing process due to the integrated lighting of the print chamber and the built-in camera as well as the connectable external USB webcam. It is possible to operate multiple printers from a single computer.

The recommended software for the TRILAB AzteQ Dynamic model is PrusaSlicer with an advanced set of tools such as organic supports, cutting, automated object distribution, ironing, and others. The program features timely updated and ready-to-use material profiles (over 180 in total) that ensure perfect output with different filaments and cut down overall print preparation time. It works with STL and gcode files and is available for Windows and macOS.
