Zortrax M300 Plus is a large-format 3D printer with a print area of 300 x 300 x 300 mm. It arrives pre-assembled and ready to print. Its heavy-duty structure consistently produces good-quality outputs. The enclosed chamber and the heated platform make it ideal for printing with high-performance materials. The manufacturer recommends using branded materials, such as Z-GLASS, Z-HIPS, Z-PETG, Z-ASA Pro, Z-PLA Pro, Z-ESD.
It shows one of the largest workspace available on the market, being able to print big parts in one go. It is a reworked version of the original M300, a successful printer adopted by professionals at NASA Johnson Space Center and Vins Motors as well. This personal FDM 3D printer has been used to print a wide variety of models, including some motorcycle parts and prosthesis. Keep reading our full review for further details.
In this example, you can see an original Triumph Daytona motorbike.
This pic shows the same motorcycle after the upgrade. It has been completely redesigned. All the external body has been printed on a Zortrax M300 Plus. Each component has top-grade quality and high dimensional accuracy.
The Zortrax M300 Plus is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 90 microns. This way you can produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces.

The Zortrax M300 Plus has a 0.4 mm nozzle, letting you benefit from strong models and fast print times.
The print head runs on rods with linear bearings, making the design more simple, lightweight and effective, all characteristics that are desirable in a 3D printer.
Zortrax M300 Plus prints with ABS, HIPS, PETG, PLA, Nylon and other materials. The company provides a variety of proprietary materials engineered to achieve the best print quality. For example, you can benefit from the exceptional quality of the water-soluble Z-SUPPORT Premium, a filament made of BVOH with a fast dissolution rate. It can be used in a range of printing temperatures achieving top-grade finishes. The ABS-based Z-ULTRAT Plus is a reinforced filament that grants optimal layer adhesion and high impact resistance. It works well with the Z-SUPPORT Premium, enabling the production of complex, work-ready parts. Z-NYLON, Z-FLEX and Z-PLA Pro are just some of the other high-performance materials dedicated to the Zortrax M300 Plus. You will have plenty of filament choices for the highest design flexibility.
The extruder comes with a fan for printing with PLA-type materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints.

Unlike many FDM printers, the Zortrax M300 Plus has a heated print bed and closed print chamber, which means it can reliably print with ABS-type materials. The print bed perforation is ideal for the purpose, holding the ABS model to the plate.

The Zortrax M300 Plus prints with 1.75 mm filament, providing you with a wide choice of materials. The company also provides proprietary filaments which ensure optimal outputs.
The build area of 11.8 x 11.8 x 11.8 inches (300 x 300 x 300 mm) lets you print just about anything, even a small Tesla Supercharger.

The printer is controlled via the onboard LCD interface. The intuitive UI lets you preview 3D models on the touchscreen in real-time. It gives you full control over the printing settings and supports ongoing updates for constant improvements.
3D models can be printed from computer via SD card.
The printer comes packaged with the own-brand Z-SUITE 2 slicing software. The program introduces a variety of features and tools for easier 3D model preparation. For example, it is capable of converting your digital design into a print-ready model automatically, adding editable support structures where required. It also detects critical printing issues, such as thin walls and damaged triangle meshes, highlighting and repairing them when possible. It offers several infill options. The various patterns allow achieving the highest durability with the least use of material. Still, you can split the models, replicate their code, undo wrong actions, print directly on the build plate, and more. Z-Suite 2 is compatible with all major 3D modeling software. It works with 3D models in .stl, .obj, .dxf, .3mf formats, and is available for Mac OS X and Windows. Linux users need to install a virtual machine or other software.
