Duplicator 6 features a closed frame and comes fully assembled. Besides the printer itself, the package includes: transparent side covers, a front door and a top cover made up of 2 transparent parts.

Inside the package, you will find everything you’ll need for comfortable 3D printing: a toolkit, a USB cable, an SD card, and a card reader.

Before turning on the printer for the first time, you’ll need to install the side covers and the door - it won’t take more than 5-7 minutes.

The top cover is removable. It takes seconds to install or take it off. This solution allows for easier access to the extruder and the upper construction of the printer.

The calibration is done in two steps: first, you’ll need to use adjustment screws, then - use a sheet of paper and the 3 leveling points. The height between the nozzle and the build plate is controlled by the rotating navigation dial.

You can prepare a digital model for printing with the Wanhao Cura Edition slicer. You will find this software on the SD card that comes with the printer. You can also use software familiar to you, for example - Simplify3D or Slic3r.

You can transfer print-ready 3D models into your printer’s memory via an SD card. The USB socket is used for firmware upgrades only.

The D6 Plus features a small monochrome LCD display. All the settings adjustments are done with a navigation dial that you can turn and push.

The full-metal frame of the Wanhao D6 Plus not only looks solid, but also improves printing stability at the account of its strength properties.

The printer’s kinematics was borrowed from the Dutch Ultimaker: the extruder moves horizontally and the print bed travels up and down along the Z-axis.

The heated bed and the enclosed chamber make it possible to print not only with ABS, but also with other temperature-sensitive plastics.

You can say that the printer has a standard build volume - 200 x 200 x 175 mm. The minimum layer thickness is 20 microns.

The coating of the print bed allows for great adhesion and easy removal of finished prints.

Maintaining the machine and monitoring the printing process is easier thanks to the LED strip inside the build chamber.

The operational noise of the printer is below average,  which means you can place the machine in your living quarters. Just remember the standard safety requirements.

Although this particular version has many useful features, if you want a little bit more for your 3D printing experience, check out Wanhao Duplicator 6 Plus.

This improved version of the D6 model has the same advantages, but has more to offer in terms of specifications.

We recommend Wanhao Duplicator 6 to both experienced users and beginner-level enthusiasts. Ready to work right out of the box, this machine provides high quality of printing. Stable results are achieved thanks to the sturdy construction and the well-proven kinematics. The closed chamber and the heated bed will allow you to work with a wide range of filaments available on the market.
