The Funmat HT is an easy-to-use 3D printer that delivers high-precision outputs in a fast and consistent fashion. With the ability to print at a minimum layer height of just 50 microns, the device can produce well-detailed objects with an exceptionally smooth surface finish. In addition, it’s mainboard is powered by four independent drivers, providing additional consistency and allowing for rapid manufacturing at a stunning maximum pace of 300 mm/s, that is, however, unachievable in most cases. The rails on the Z-axis along with the ball screw have also been upgraded to its HIWIN counterparts, ensuring a smooth workflow.
The machine offers a fully enclosed design and boasts its high-end thermal system designed for hassle-free printing with engineering-grade plastics. Indeed, it features an enclosed build chamber offering a constant high-temperature environment of 90°C that helps to reduce warping and stringing, a detachable magnetic build plate that facilitates print removal and can heat up to 160°C, and an all-metal extruder that can reach a maximum temperature of 450 °C. Unlike its predecessor, the Funmat HT, the Enhanced version offers an improved nozzle and automatic bed leveling function for effortless print bed calibration, allowing to proceed to the actual 3D printing as soon as possible. In addition, the bed features an improved motion system and offers a glass-ceramic coating with PI film. All that’s left to do is to unbox it, place it on your desk (please keep in mind that the machine is a heavy one and weighs 43 kg (95 lb)), undo the clamps off the X and Y axes, install the extruder, connect the wires, plug the device in and turn it on.
